AMAZON Music, Head of Music for Latin Iberia
Rocío Guerrero is Director of Music for Latin America-Iberia at Amazon Music. As part of the Music leadership team, Rocio oversees the growth strategy and execution for these territories, as well as for Latin music globally, leading global cross-cutting initiatives including exclusive original content, livestreaming, merchandise, marketing and playlisting. Now in more than 40 countries, Amazon Music continues to grow in Latin America.
Prior to Amazon Music, Rocio was a senior member of the Warner Music Latin team as Vice President of A&R and Cross-Cultural Strategy. He explored new avenues of artist development through streaming services, helped identify emerging talent and developed creative collaborations for Warner Music artists globally and locally. Prior to Warner Music, he held the position of Head of Global Music Cultures at Spotify for 8 years, where he built the global music expansion strategy, which was instrumental in the globalization of Latin music.
Rocio was recognized as one of four of the 2022 Leading Ladies of Entertainment by the Latin Recording Academy. This recognition celebrates the achievements of professional women who excel in the fields of arts and entertainment. She has also appeared several times on Billboard’s “Latin Power Players” list and has been named one of the “100 Most Powerful Female Executives” by Billboard. He speaks several languages and is a violinist with the New York Symphonic Arts Ensemble Orchestra.
