Jorge Ilegales
Ilegales, Singer and guitarist
The group’s beginnings date back to 1977, when Jorge Martinez formed the trio Madson, which, two years later, changed its name to Los Metálicos and then renamed themselves ILEGALES.
In 1981 they won the rock contest Ciudad de Oviedo, which allowed them to participate in the recording of a collective album, in this case with the songs Europa ha muerto, La Fiesta and Princesa equivocada. A few months later they released a single that included La Pasta en la mano and Revuelta juvenil en Mongolia. In 1982 the producer Paco Martín asked them to record their first album. In his first album, entitled Ilegales, Jorge Martínez uses blunt and concise phrases that reflect a nihilistic vision of a marginal urban environment, where drugs, delinquency and violence are omnipresent.
