Since 2019, DannyLux has captivated global listeners with his “”Alternativo-Sierreño”” sound, garnering over a million followers on social media. Born in California to Mexican immigrants, his musical journey began at age 7 with his father’s discarded guitar. Inspired by artists such as Ariel Camacho and Eslabón Armado, at the age of 15 he composed his first hit, “”24:7″”, which went viral.
The artist kicked off 2023 with a groundbreaking Coachella Music Festival debut, a story of local glory told through a poster that went viral and the presentation of the keys to his hometown of Desert Hot Springs by the city’s mayor. Simultaneously his work was recognized with nominations for Premio Lo Nuestro , Latin American Music Awards, and he received his first BMI Latin Music Award for his song “Jugaste y Sufri” with Eslabon Amado. The young artist was named to Billboard’s 21 Under 21 list for the second year in a row and made Variety’s Young Hollywood Report in 2023. DannyLux made history by being the first Mexican Music artist to perform on A Colors Show, and later debuted on NPR’s Tiny Desk.
