Alex Ferrer is a music producer and engineer and director of The Groove, a company specialized in mixing and mastering.
He has won and been nominated twice for a Latin Grammy in the “engineering” category. His musical career spans different fields. He started working in music composition for advertising for clients such as Nestlé, Mango, Desigual, TVE Juegos Olímpicos Rio, Danone, Frigo, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Brugal or Puig.
He has also worked as a composer for the theater company La Fura dels Baus.
Linked since his beginnings to the world of electronic music, he has been part of different musical projects such as: Sidechains, Playless or The Requesters with John Talabot. His facet as Disk- jockey has led him to play in different venues around the world and participate in festivals such as Sonar, Creamfields or Summercase. He has also been resident at Sala Razzmatazz in Barcelona for 8 years.
Today, he is one of the main mixing and mastering engineers of the most current sounds encompassing urban, pop and electronic music. His credits include artists such as C.Tangana, Morad, Nathy Peluso, Vitalic, Dellafuente, Dorian among many others.
