What is BIME?
BIME is an international music industry event that has been held since 2013 in Bilbao (Basque Country) and, from 2022, also in Bogotá (Colombia). In this way, it expands its space to reflect on the challenges that drive the future of the sector and the enjoyment of live music in Latin America.
BIME thus reinforces its commitment to establish alternative routes in the music industry that facilitate and multiply artistic and professional flows between Latin America and Europe, generating opportunities for economic, cultural and relational growth for artists, professionals, companies and audiences directly or indirectly linked to music. All of this is supported, of course, by the linguistic bond of a language shared by nearly 600 million people.
Moreover, BIME extends beyond the face-to-face meeting thanks to its DIGITAL PLATFORM, which is active 365 days a year.

The BIME professional congress was born in 2013 looking to the future of music and reaching out to America. Today it is a meeting point for professionals of all profiles from more than 50 countries and from all areas of the music and other cultural and creative industries. A place to connect continents, do business, share knowledge and discover the latest innovations in everything directly or indirectly related to music.
In 2020, BIME PRO sees the opportunity to evolve to a hybrid format, a format that helps it to grow both nationally and internationally and that consolidates for its next editions.
The programme is made up of a series of talks and conferences with professionals from all areas of the creative industries and is also supported by various special activities.
BIME LIVE brings live music to the heart of the city for 4 days. The best concerts will tour the main halls and stages, with a free access programme, where you can discover the talents of the future and the most avant-garde proposals of the moment. Showcases are the perfect space where the most promising up-and-coming artists showcase their talent to festival programmers, managers, journalists and other music industry players, and get audiences buzzing.
A total of 65 concerts by artists from different countries and territories, where you can enjoy a wide range of musical styles including flamenco, pop, rap, trap, reggaeton, indie, reggae, alternative, R&B, folk, hardcore, hyperpop and electronica. This programme is complemented by screenings of music documentaries.
BIME LIVE thus seeks to bring its programme closer to both the professional public that attends the music congress and the final public, democratising access to culture and becoming a celebration of music that is committed to new artistic talent.
PROFESSIONAL PLATFORM
BIME extends beyond the face-to-face meeting thanks to its DIGITAL PLATFORM. It is not only a networking application where you can connect with other professionals attending the event, but also a space where you can follow the event both live and recorded. In this way, connections, learning and knowledge dissemination are encouraged throughout the 365 days of the year.
It is also a space for the dissemination of content and news about the industry, a place for training and entrepreneurship, as well as the point of union of the different specialized sectorial associations and the external diffusion of the professionals who are part of it.
