Social communicator-journalist from Universidad Javeriana, currently head of music at Radio Nacional de Colombia. He has been editor of the newspaper El Espectador, brand manager of classical music and jazz for Universal Music Colombia, cultural editor of Cambio magazine and editor-in-chief and international editor of SoHo magazine. His writings on music have been published in The Washington Post, El País of Spain, the English magazine Songlines, La Nación of Argentina, El periódico de Cataluña and national media. He has been a music commentator for the magazines Cambio, Cromos, Donjuán, Arcadia and El Malpensante. Winner on three occasions (2011, 2018 and 2023) of the Simon Bolivar National Journalism Award for works related to music. His most recent book is “En surcos de colores. A history of Colombian music in 150 records” (Rey Naranjo Editores, 2024).
