THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS FOR BIME BOGOTÁ, 5 DAYS OF MUSIC AND KNOWLEDGE
The Ean University will host the professional conferences that will include more than 100 activities with important representatives of the international music industry such as ADA Latin, Amazon, Billboard, Bizarro Live, Ditto, Loud and Live, Netflix, NPR, Ocesa, ONERPM, ONE Publishing, Páramo Presents, Pitchfork, Republic Network, Rolling Stone, Spotify, TBA Agency, Tik Tok, Tu Boleta, Vydia, Warner, WiZink Center, and Youtube, among many others.
The San Felipe Creative District will host 50 concerts in 5 free access stages divided between three stages with a daytime schedule and two with shows during the night in the mythical space The Ghetto Project.
The Colombian capital is preparing to host BIME, the international meeting of the music industry. From 3rd to 7th of May, over 150 music industry headlining professionals, from all over the world will be taking part in the busy schedule of activities where the future of the industry will be discussed as well as other topics like trends, technology, international business, diversity and inclusion and more.

Among the milestones of the complete and diverse programming offered by the professional congress, the presence of key players in the sector worldwide such ADA Latin, Amazon, Billboard, Bizarro Live, Ditto, IFPI, Loud and Live, Netflix, Neon16, NPR, Ocesa, ONERPM, ONE Publishing,Páramo Presenta, Pitchfork, Republic Network, Rolling Stone, Spotify, TBA Agency, Tik Tok, Tu Boleta, Vydia, Warner, WiZink Center yYoutube, among many others.
BIME PRO is the space where solutions to the present and future challenges of the music industry are built. There will be special panels where key issues of the moment will be discussed such as web 3.0 e and artificial intelligence, the challenge of ticket sales, the main initiatives in development of cities around music, an interview framed in the innovative Caja Negra format live with María Becerra, a panel with important music supervisors on synchronizations and publicity in the audiovisual world and associationism will be worked on in a panel-workshop with the aim of promoting associationism in LATAM taking success stories from Europe and Latin America as a reference.Work will also be done on the social and labor rights of cultural professionals, the present and the future of guarantees for artists and music workers,with the participation of UNESCO and the Ministries of Culture of Spain and Panama. These activities are added to a complete agenda in which issues of equality, sustainability, the 2030 agenda, innovation, rights, internationalization and training, among many others, are worked on transversally.
The best technological proposals for the future of the music industry will have a space to make their proposal visible at the Start Up! Village and the 6 selected projects will be presented at “Demo Day” in front of an international jury made up of ICEX, EWA, Ventures, IRIE VC, Camaleon BM, Inversiones Romy, Techstars Mentor and Latin leap.
Likewise, there will be a wide range of speedmeeting sessions to promote different networking possibilities between professionals: pitching sessions with the professional delegations Sounds From Spain and BASQUE.MUSIC., cocktails and receptions from differentinstitutions such as AIE, Fundación SGAE, Meet the Canadians, INAMU and Chilemúsica, as well as international working groups.
The Vinyl Industry (LIDV) will have special relevance with various activities -from panels to exclusive album releases- led by representatives of the main independent Latin American labels.
There will also be a space for musical co-creation with BIME Sessions, a music laboratory that seeks to stimulate artistic collaboration. A space for composition, with a focus on artistic coexistence, in songwriting and production meetings. Within the framework of BIME, different international artists will share ideas and study hours at Árbol Naranja.

LIVE MUSIC SHOWS FOR THE COMMUNITY
After the doors close at Universidad Ean and during the weekend, the itinerary continues in the afternoons and evenings at the San Felipe Creative District, with the extensive BIME LIVE program that offers cultural activities open to all citizens, including music live, a Vinyl Market and a special edition of Open San Felipe x BIME, extending until Sunday May 7.
The concerts will take place on 5 stages where showcases with the latest musical trends from different parts of the world will be presented: three stages located in the Creative District of San Felipe and two night stages in the mythical space The Ghetto Project, 5 escenarios donde se presentarán showcases con a venue that is an experience itself, with showcases in the Kaputt and The Bonfire rooms. To the 30 recently announced artists, another 20 are being revealed today, completing the lineup with a total of 50 artists from 10 countries, with a great representation of local Colombian talent: Ácido Pantera (CO), Amaia (ES), Briela Ojeda (CO), Cero39 (CO), Conjunto Media Luna (CO/AU), Delfina Dib (AR), Felipe Orjuela and the New Electronic Estudiantina (CO), Lika Nova (CO), Lucía Romero (UY),Lucio Feuillet (CO), L’Xuasma (CO), Los Bulldozer (CO/FR), Los Cotopla Boyz (US/AR), Motherflowers (VE), Mr. Bleat (CO), Nicolás y Los Fumadores (CO),. In the Vinyl Market, the factories that press and cut vinyl, record labels, distributors, record stores and brands of the phonographic industry will be presented. This exhibition will take place from Friday to Sunday, and will include releases and live music with label showcases.
As a novelty in this second edition in Bogotá, BIME will have a direct connection with the plastic arts by joining Open San Felipe, the festival that on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 May will open the doors of all cultural spaces to the general public, galleries, restaurants and businesses in the Creative District.
