Miguel Arias

Miguel Arias is a general partner at Kfund, responsible for Leadwind, a $250 million fund for scale-ups focused on enabling technologies. Previously, he was the Global Director of Entrepreneurship at Telefónica, leading Wayra and Open Future, its interface with entrepreneurial ecosystems worldwide.
He served as COO of CARTO, a geospatial intelligence platform, securing over $100M from Accel Partners and Insight Partners, among others, where he directed the company’s growth and global scaling. He also co-founded IMASTE, a webcasting and virtual events startup acquired by ON24 Inc (NYSE: ONTF).
He co-founded the Chamberí Valley Association of scale-ups in Madrid and enjoys teaching as entrepreneurship professor at IE Business School and ISDI.
