Mar Rojo (Madrid, Spain) is a manager at Las Olas and an artist booking agent at Sonido Muchacho, as well as an independent programmer.
D. in Media Studies, she has worked as a booker at Primavera Sound, contributing to the programming of the 2022 and 2023 festivals. Before that and after a decade as a programmer in venues in Madrid (MobyDick, El Sol) she founded her own music promoter and as an independent music curator she has worked in institutional programs, highlighting the last five editions of the performing arts festival Veranos de la Villa (2020-2024).
She is also proud vice-president of the feminist association MIM, Mujeres en la Industria de la Musica, dedicated to fighting for gender equality in the Spanish music industry.
