Andrés Fernández, known as Andre VII, is a producer, DJ and entrepreneur who has transformed the music and entertainment scene in Mexico. As founder of Platino Records, he has consolidated his label as a benchmark for Latin American techno, achieving millions of plays on digital platforms and the recognition of figures such as I Hate Models, Seth Troxler and Amelie Lens.
In the business world, he has been a key player in the evolution of nightlife in Mexico. He was a partner and curator of Rhodesia Social Club, one of the most iconic clubs in Mexico City. He also co-founded Sicario Music, an agency that later merged with Tape to become TSM, one of the most influential companies in artist development in Latin America. Currently, he is partner and director of Bar Oriente, a club recognized as one of the best in the region, where he has managed to merge music and culture in a unique experience. He also participates as a partner and booker of Xaman, a speakeasy that has redefined the Afrohouse scene in Mexico.
Internationally, he has been a member of the curatorship of Sónar Mexico, influencing the selection of talents and the artistic direction of the festival. His background as an Audio Engineer, with specialization in production and Music Business, has allowed him to combine creativity and business strategy in all his projects. He is recognized as a leader in the evolution of club culture and a key promoter of emerging talent in electronic music. His impact goes beyond music, consolidating him as a fundamental figure in the Latin American entertainment industry.
