Open call for artists/bands from the Netherlands for BIME Bilbao 2024!
BIME together with Dutch Music Export launches an open call for 2 Dutch solo artists or bands.
They will have the opportunity to showcase their talent to festival programmers, managers, journalists and other music industry players. In addition, the selected proposals will also have the opportunity to participate in the three days of the congress programme, where they will be able to learn, interact with people from all areas of the music industry and discover the latest trends in the sector.
- Artists and groups must be based in the Netherlands.
- Be of legal age.
- The application will only be valid through the open call form.
- The call will be open from Monday 1 July at 15h CET until Monday 15 July at 23:59h CET.
- The selection of the bands will be made by BIME, and Dutch Music Export will support the promotion of the showcases once the proposals selected to participate have been confirmed.
- Two slots are available for showcase.
- Includes 1 showcase per artist/band at BIME Bilbao 2024, to be held in Bilbao (Spain) between 29 October and 1 November 2024.
- BIME will assume the production costs of the showcase (room, lighting and basic sound equipment, PA system, technical staff and basic backline that will be shared). The basic backline will be confirmed by the organisation according to the rider of the band. All backline extras must be covered by the band (in no case will in ears be included).
- In addition to the participation in the showcases, the band will be able to benefit from accreditations that give access to the programming of the professional event, as well as hotel accommodation for one night (maximum 3 twin rooms per project) and dinner/catering on the night of the showcase.
- The selected artists/bands undertake to attend and to cover the associated travel and accommodation expenses not covered by the organisation.
- BIME will not pay any fees to artists for their participation.
- The results of the call will be communicated to all applicants via email.
