[CLOSED] Nederlanden! The call for BIME Bilbao 2023 is now open!

As has become a tradition, BIME joins forces with Dutch Music Export and together, they launch an open call for three Dutch solo artists or bands.

The three selected artists will have the opportunity to participate in the three days of programming, where they will have the chance to showcase their talent to festival programmers, discover the latest trends in the sector, and learn about all areas of the music industry. From 23rd to 25th October, BIME Bilbao will be the perfect stage for growth.

Bases of the call:

1. Artists and bands must be based in the Netherlands.

2. Be of legal age.

3. The application shall only be valid via the open call form.

4. The call will be open from Wednesday 7 June at 17:00h until Wednesday 21 June at 23:59h.

5. The selection of the bands will be made by BIME, and Dutch Music Export will support the promotion of the acts once the proposals selected to participate have been confirmed.

6. Three showcase spaces are available.

7. Includes 1 showcase per artist/band at BIME Bilbao 2023, to be held in Bilbao (Spain) on 25-26 October 2023. BIME will assume the production costs of the showcase (venue, lighting and basic sound equipment, PA, technical staff and basic backline).

8. In addition to the participation in the showcases, the band will benefit from accreditations giving access to the professional event programme, as well as hotel accommodation for one night (maximum 3 double rooms per project) and dinner/catering on the night of the showcase.

9. The selected artists/bands undertake to attend and to cover the associated travel and accommodation expenses that are not covered by the organisation.

10. BIME will not pay any fees to artists for their participation.
