Karla Grunewaldt
Karla Grunewaldt, a singer-songwriter from Chile, has cultivated from an early age a deep connection with the arts, nature and fashion design. Her independent musical project is a sonic journey that intertwines reality and fantasy, combining the transversal of pop, the strength of rock and the depth of folk. On stage, Karla delivers experiences that fuse music, film and theater, exploring personal stories and themes such as mental health, self-improvement and environmental care. With an identity that blends her Latin American roots with an international pop vision, she has been called “the fairy of Chilean music”, and is inspired by cultural exchange and authentic connection with her audience. She has taken her music to stages such as Womad South Africa, the opening shows of Camilo, Reik, Carlos Vives, Luciano Pereyra, Sigrid and Dreamcatcher, and is confirmed for important festivals such as Lollapalooza 2025. She has also collaborated with Josh Rogosin, former TINY DESK soundman. Her new album “Casa8” was awarded as the Record of the Year 2024, of which “Deseo oculto”, her recent single, is part of. Currently, the artist is preparing the release of her new single “Otro amor”, with a sound that reinvents her essence and will be released in March of this year.
