Duplat is an independent musical project, which transmits the genuineness and imperfection of an independent artist. Duplat has positioned itself as a fresh and special proposal in the sound of Bogota and Colombia with the piano as the protagonist, accompanied by a hoarse and rough voice, inspired by the ideas of indie, and Latin American rock where the piano and saxophone with a hoarse and tired voice prevail; a warm and homemade sounding mixing style, with influences mainly in Argentine and British rock; and some subtly added influences of classical music.

In 2023 he presented “”””Autogol”””” unifying his sound and demonstrating his versatility on the piano and his sonic evolution in recent years. He performed at major venues such as the Estereo Picnic Festival, Cordillera Festival and Festival Centro (2023).

In 2024 he will be presenting his album “”””Mosaico Pirata”””” showing his sonic evolution and experimentation with disco sounds and pop structures. It is a retrospective experience, looking for inspiration in sounds and artists of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. The album will feature collaborations with Santiago Cruz, Juan Pablo Vega, Manuel Medrano, among others.
