The State Platform for the Performing Arts and Music is the result of a collective work process that generated a programmatic and strategic framework, initiated with the mercartes roundtable in 2021.
It comprises over thirty associations and federations at the national level that come together in a space for dialogue and collaboration within the performing arts and music sectors, with strategic objectives and a comprehensive vision for the sector.

Among its main goals are: to improve and amplify the influence of the general and strategic interests of the performing arts and music sectors on the public agenda; to unify the sector by identifying common interests, establishing agreed-upon strategies, and fostering loyal and rigorous dialogue; and to create a smooth dialogue with social and political agents in order to involve them in the sector’s strategy.
