Economist from the Universidad Externado de Colombia and Master in Social Studies, Labor and Development from the Sorbonne University. With extensive experience in the public and private sector. He has worked as a researcher at UNICEF and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture, Director of Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and CIAT Advisor for this Ministry. Head of the Planning Office of the Financiera de Desarrollo Territorial, Advisor to the Office of the Minister of Environment, Housing and Territorial Development, and National Housing Manager of the Banco Agrario de Colombia.
At the Bogota Chamber of Commerce he has served as Director of the Agricultural and Agroindustrial Megaproject, Director of Macro-sectoral Articulation and is currently Vice President of Business Strengthening, a position from which he leads the programs of entrepreneurship, formalization, business growth and strengthening, innovation and business training management.
He led the design and implementation of the Business Innovation and Design Center – INNOVALAB, as a strategy of the entity to promote the processes of sophistication of the productive offer of the region. This project was incorporated as one of the main pillars of the Exponential Entrepreneurship Center of the National Government, “C Emprende”.
