María del Pilar Ordóñez Méndez

María del Pilar Ordóñez Méndez is a cultural manager with extensive experience in the design and implementation of public, private and mixed initiative projects. She participated in the creation and implementation of the Colombian Ministry of Culture and in the development of its first regulatory pillars. She also played a key role in the implementation of the public-private model of the Julio Mario Santo Domingo Theater where she was Deputy General Director during the first 5 years of operation. She was Undersecretary at the Secretariat of Culture, Recreation and Sports of Bogota D.C.
She knew the role associated with entrepreneurship from her company of production of cultural goods and services. From there she carried out editorial projects, artistic productions and specialized consultancies for the sector in strategic planning and institutional development processes.
She currently directs the Colombia Crea Talento Corporation -COCREA- from where she manages a tax incentive that finances investment in the creative and cultural ecosystem of Colombia.
