Paola Valdivieso Ruiz is a cultural manager noted for her commitment to strengthening the artistic and creative sector in Colombia. Throughout her career, she has been an active voice in promoting the sustainability of cultural projects, contributing to the development of stronger and more inclusive ecosystems. She is the founder of Loa Productora, an agency specialized in the management and coordination of musical projects. From there she leads consulting and mentoring processes in circulation, design of national and international commercial routes for music companies and entities, accompaniment of delegations in markets and fairs, curatorship for festivals and promotion of collaborations between Colombian and international artists. Loa Productora’s roster includes renowned groups such as Canalón de Timbiquí, Los Gaiteros de Ovejas, Kombilesa Mi and Loa Malbec (Selectora), a musical project of which she is also founder. With Loa Malbec she has developed research and musical curatorial processes, and has performed in stages and festivals in Colombia, United States, Spain, Switzerland, Argentina, Uruguay, among other countries. In 2024 she was the curator of the Salsa al Parque Festival in Bogota, one of the most important events in the city’s cultural calendar. Currently, she is part of the Cultural Action team of the National Center of Historical Memory, where she works in the reconstruction of the social fabric affected by the armed conflict, promoting spaces where culture becomes an engine of social transformation.
