Producer, manager and cultural manager, I have worked in these roles within the music and culture industry in Uruguay both in the public and private sector for 20 years.
In the last few years I have been Director of the National Institute of Music and Technical Manager of the National Directorate of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay.
Previously I worked coordinating different work teams, such as the Stimulus Fund for Artistic Training and Creation and the Department of International Affairs also in the National Directorate of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
In the private sector I have developed the career of several national artists, producing international music and visual arts festivals and shows.
My continuous activity in the field has allowed me to build a comprehensive vision of the national cultural ecosystem, particularly of the music industry, knowing at the same time the international dynamics that connect us with the world, having participated in several opportunities in international markets and festivals.
My entire trajectory has been crossed by the deep belief that culture is the engine of development of society, being this an inalienable human right with a strong perspective of equity and inclusion.
I was trained in the areas of cultural management, visual arts and philosophy.
