Maestro Nidia Góngora is the most recognized singer of the Colombian Pacific, winner of the Shock Award and nominated for the Latin Grammy (2019). With a degree in education, researcher and leader of Canalón de Timbiquí, she has fused traditional music with global genres. Her voice has marked anthems of the Pacific and she has collaborated with artists such as Quantic and Bomba Estéreo. Activist and entrepreneur, she promotes cultural and social projects. She has been awarded in multiple national and international stages.
