Patricia Gabeiras heads the law firm Gabeiras, founded in 2004 with the aim of contributing, from the law, to the creation of a more just, egalitarian and sustainable society. In 2021 the firm obtained the B Corp certification, being the first in Spain, and in 2024 it reaffirmed its commitment to continuous improvement by achieving one of the most outstanding scores in the legal sector, nationally and internationally, in the recertification.
She holds a PhD in Cultural Law from UNED and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid with a thesis on financial content. In her thesis she proposed the creation of an investment fund to finance cultural projects under a Blended Finance scheme.
He also holds a Master in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles de Madrid, a Master in Comparative European Private Law from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and, additionally, a Specialist in Structured Finance and Derivatives, Options and Futures. In 2018 he graduated from a Program for Managers (PDD) in Sustainable Finance and Climate Change at the IEB.
He continuously develops legislative advocacy work, as he conceives law as a tool for social transformation and works closely with the public sector. She has participated in various working groups for the drafting of legislative proposals related to the Statute of the Artist, the White Paper on Companies with a Purpose or Impact Investments. Her commitment to gender equality has led the firm to act on behalf of professional groups of women in the field of culture.
He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Gabeiras Foundation for Law and Culture, from where he contributes to development and social justice through the promotion and defense of Culture, Law and Sustainability.
Finally, among her institutional commitments, she is a member of the Academic Forum on Sustainable Finance of the UPF (Barcelona) and of Women Action Sustainability (WAS). She is General Director of the Spanish Association of Music Festivals (FMA) and Founder and Vice President of the Chus Gabeiras Foundation, dedicated to the development of cultural projects in Spanish with the Saharawi people. Between 2016 and 2023 she was part of the Board of Directors of the Association Women in the Music Industry (MIM).
He received in 2016 the Osixeno Award for his work in defense of the environment.
