Marttein is an Argentine singer and producer who blends rock songwriting with electronic music. He began his career in 2016, at the age of fifteen, within Buenos Aires’ underground rave and club scene. After releasing a series of EPs and his album trilogy —Antro (2017), Guerra (2018) and Némesis (2019), available on SoundCloud—, he made his major breakthrough with his self-titled album, released in late 2024.
Across its nine tracks, he channelled the frustration and sense of failure he had experienced after seven years of playing in underground clubs and releasing albums that barely made an impact. The project found its visual expression in the film Una película argentina, starring “el rubio”, a satire of his persona, life and experiences in the nightlife scene as he pursues his dream. The album featured collaborations with Dillom, Juana Rozas and Mariana Enriquez, and sold out venues including El Maquinal and Niceto Club. Throughout 2025, Marttein toured Argentina and Latin America, performing in Mexico, Colombia and Uruguay. That same year, he released El Marrón and Morir al Sol, a double single influenced by rockabilly, followed by Espectacular, an EP portraying contemporary individualism and the success-driven culture of youth. The project included a short film featuring Tomás Rebord in an interlude and Six Sex in Pizza Party.
These releases make up La Trilogía de la Decadencia, presented to a packed Teatro Vorterix. He also opened for Billy Idol at Movistar Arena and kicked off 2026 with a performance at Lollapalooza.
