Stephanie Carvajal is a music professional, part of YouTube's Artist Partnerships and Development team working with artist teams and their labels, distributors, and marketing teams, developing Latin artists on the platform. She has more than 12 years of experience in the content and music industry, first having worked with Top Creators and Brands across Latin America and then focusing on ‘Breaking’ artists on the platform. Before joining YouTube she negotiated defense aerospace contracts. Born and raised in New Jersey, Stephane is a first generation Colombian-American as her parents hail from Cali and Medellin, Colombia. She grew grew up listening to 90’s R&B and hip-hop and Latin music influences: salsa, baladas, vallenatos, cumbia, merengue, bachata and reggaeton. Stephanie earned a bachelor of arts in Economics-Political Science and Hispanic Studies from Columbia University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration at Columbia Business School.
