[Private] Culture and Impact Investment Forum, 4th Meeting: Measuring Impact

Fundación Gabeiras, in collaboration with BIME, an initiative of Fundación Industrias Creativas, and with the support of Fundación Daniel y Nina Carasso, is organising this meeting aimed at advancing towards a common framework for measuring cultural impact.
The panel will explore the different dimensions of impact, from macroeconomic effects to those generated by individual projects, while also considering the intrinsic value of culture and how it can be incorporated into evaluation and funding processes.
The discussion will also examine the potential application to the cultural sector of principles such as DNSH, standards such as VSME, and methodologies such as PIAs, as well as the development of indicators based on cultural rights.
The aim is to define more rigorous, objective and comparable criteria for identifying, measuring and reporting the impact of cultural projects, and to support decision-making by funders and institutions.
