Paz Aparicio is a journalist by training. After 16 years at the Recoletos Group, working for the newspaper MARCA, she joined the Palacio de Deportes in 2006 as Commercial Director. Since 2014, she has served as the venue’s director at Impulsa Eventos e Instalaciones.
Her main responsibility is managing the programming of what is now the Movistar Arena, which in recent years has ranked among the Top 5 venues worldwide, according to the prestigious international magazine Pollstar, and as the leading venue in Europe in terms of ticket sales.
From her position at Movistar Arena, she has promoted the Spanish-Speaking Association of Entertainment Arenas, which brings together arenas from across the Spanish-speaking world around music.
