Mon Laferte | Conversaciones BIME

Creating means entering emotions that do not always have a map: desires, pains, intuitions searching for their voice. For Mon Laferte, music and painting have become paths to discover her own layers and, at the same time, connect with those who feel similar questions. In this conversation we open the doors to her universes, explore her concerns, and approach the present moment of her work. Latin American singer-songwriter and visual artist Mon Laferte is a creator who, through her music, moves naturally across a wide variety of genres. From the musical influences she cultivated during her adolescence in her hometown of Viña del Mar, Chile, to everything she has learned in Mexico—her second home since 2007—Mon’s work is a blend of emotion, experimentation, and authenticity.
