Marta Candás

Marta Candás (28) is a cultural manager and vocalist of the Asturian band Viuda, a post-punk group that fuses the genre with echoes of copla and Spanish folk traditions. From Gijón, they promote both Asturian and “cañí” culture through a contemporary lens, highlighting industrial heritage and occasionally singing in their regional language, while building a unique visual and sonic universe that reinterprets tradition and bridges legacy and innovation.
