Marisa Moya

Director

Cheste (Valencia), 1972

With over thirty years of experience in the music industry, artist manager Marisa Moya is one of the people who have helped shape Spain's independent music scene from within.

Her career began in 1990s Valencia, where she founded Tranquilo Niebla, a concert promoter and self-releasing record label that put out records by Big Score, Los Sostenidos and Polar, while bringing concerts by national and international bands to the city. She went on to collaborate with projects such as Matarile and the legendary Roxy venue, moved to MTV London and, after settling in Madrid, joined Love To Art to produce tours across Spain.

In 2008, she joined Ártica Management as Head of Production. In 2012, she moved to I’m An Artist (New Day Rising), expanding her role into artist management and career development. In 2015, she co-founded the agency EMERGE with Tomás Heredero, where she worked with Nacho Vegas, Sidonie and León Benavente until 2022.

Today, she represents and develops Rufus T. Firefly, Carencias Afectivas, El Momento Incómodo, Eva McBel and Ona Mafalda, driving their projects forward in Spain and across European and Latin American markets.

Convinced that the industry grows stronger when it organises itself, she is a member of MIM (Women in the Music Industry), a founding member of FORMA, the new association for artist managers in Spain, and a member of UFI and ARTE. She sees collective organisation as an essential tool for building a fairer, more professional and more equal industry.
