Leo Rizzi is a Spanish-Uruguayan singer and songwriter internationally recognised for his fusion of alternative pop and melodic soft rock. Born in Ibiza and raised between Uruguay and Spain, he has developed a multicultural artistic identity shaped by Latin American and Spanish influences. His hit “Amapolas”, released in 2021, propelled him to global success and became a viral phenomenon on TikTok, reaching Spotify’s Global Top 5 and surpassing 327 million streams on the platform. The song earned gold certification in Spain and triple platinum in Mexico, establishing Rizzi as one of the most prominent emerging voices in Spanish-language pop.
In 2024, he released his debut album, Pájaro Azul, inspired by a story by Rubén Darío. The project features collaborations with artists such as Zahara, Paty Cantú, Gus and DannyLux, and resonated particularly strongly with audiences in Spain and Latin America. Songs such as “Malvas”, “Ángel Caído” and “Revolución Azul” have amassed millions of streams across digital platforms. In 2026, he released “Puro” and “Choque”, singles that reflect a new stage of songwriting maturity while continuing to explore a nostalgic soft rock sound.
Throughout his career, Leo Rizzi has built a special connection with Spain and Latin America, particularly Mexico, where he has established a strong fan base. With his melancholic sound, magnetic voice and introspective lyrics, he has established himself as one of the most authentic and emotionally compelling acts on the Spanish-language music scene.
