As Vice President of Global Festivals at The Team, Karina González spearheads the agency’s Latin festival strategy—driving bookings for top talent at premier festivals across Latin America, and contemporary Latin music festivals in the U.S. She’s also contributed to the growth of the company’s roster by supporting the signings of exciting Latin talent, such as Puerto Rican group Chuwi and fast-growing Mexican star Macario Martinez. In recognition for her influence and leadership in the Latin music space, González was named one of Billboard’s 2024 Latin Women in Music Executives to Watch and was previously featured as a HITS Daily Double Noisemaker. Before joining The Team, González was the VP of Touring & Development at Zamora Live, where she expanded the promoter’s presence across Central America—bringing the company for the first time into Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. In 2024, she also collaborated in booking Michelada Fest Chicago, headlined by Kali Uchis and Junior H. Prior to that, Gonzalez served as an Agent at UTA focused on the Latin American market for major music artists including Karol G, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Bring Me the Horizon, AURORA, and Arlo Parks.
