Jorge Navarro

Jorge Navarro, Head of Label Relations for Mexico and Colombia at YouTube/YouTube Music, began his career in music as a member of the indie pop band Ventilader, with whom he recorded three studio albums, the last one released through Sony Music. In 2016, he moved to the business side of the music industry, joining ONErpm as an A&R, specializing in independent pop and alternative projects. During his time at ONErpm, he signed artists such as Silvana Estrada, Marco Mares, Camilo Séptimo, and Daniel Me Estás Matando.

He later expanded his scope to hip hop and regional Mexican music, working with artists such as Alemán, Playa Limbo, Cardenales de Nuevo León, La Banda Bastón, Sabino, Rawayana, and many more. Since joining YouTube in 2021, he has worked to amplify the reach and visibility of his partners’ releases across the territory. To do so, he has leveraged YouTube’s tools while collaborating closely with Mexican and Colombian record labels.

In recent years, Jorge Navarro has helped position YouTube as a key platform for independent music in Mexico and Colombia. His work has contributed to artists from both countries reaching broader audiences and achieving international success.
