Jespfur

The work of Jespfur, the moniker of multi-instrumentalist Jesper Vervoort, is collection of dusty but razor-sharp patchworks. There are slacker rock guitar lines, there are opaque hypnagogic vocal lines, and there’s plenty of SP-555 trickery. A constant presence of unexpected twists and turns by “the beat maker who’s recording a band”.

Experienced as post-genre / conceptual pop, Vervoort’s compositions garnered a micro-cult and caught attention from The Fader, BBC, NTS. Centralising the variety of output significantly with latest full length Pedestrians Of Bright Silence released through 10k.
