Devin Landau

Creative Artists Agency, Booking agent

Devin Landau is a veteran agent at CAA, and former co-founder and partner of TBA Agency, based in Los Angeles. Landau takes inspiration from his early studies of Anthropology, Archaeology and Art History, and from his time working in Latin America. “Working in Peru shaped my perspective of the global market, where cultures originate and how they come to thrive across the world,” Landau explains. “Building a global platform with and for these artists in touring is what I’m most passionate about, but there’s so much that excites and inspires me about this business: the great relationships with people, the expansion of culturally relevant artists into the international market, the conferences and travel, sharing knowledge on panel discussions and masterclasses, and even the logistical problem solving,” he says. “We get to do it all, and do it while making incredible things happen for artists and fans.”

Landau began booking and promoting bands in college, before graduating and landing his first formal agency job at Surefire Agency in late 2009. Landau rose to a senior agent position with Surefire before moving to Windish and Paradigm, then on to co-found TBA for a six-year stint prior to joining CAA on April 1st 2026. When asked what inspires him each day “the ability to be creative about strategies and about signing unique artists and creating unforgettable moments for his clients and their fans. I also wanted to prove that it's possible to create everlasting touring careers that have no cultural boundaries or barriers, and to have fun while doing it. I also just really love identifying and discovering new talent, plain and simple.”

When sharing some of his favorite booking moments of the last year, it’s clear they go hand-in-hand with that mentality. “Grupo Frontera’s first headline show at Red Rocks is monumental for the band and the genre, as well as their headlining appearance at Empire Festival in Guatemala were very proud moments”. Landau also cites his client Rusowsky, the Spanish born, pioneering producer, songwriter and classically trained pianist with a genre-defying sound who performed at Coachella as his 2nd ever performance in California as highly memorable. He also felt tremendous joy seeing the love and admiration from the Brazilian & Latin community at Luísa Sonza’s debut Coachella performance. She also released an album the same week as the start of the festival that debuted at #5 Globally on the Spotify Charts which was timed incredibly well. He also remembers his Mexican-American client Cuco performing at both Vive Latino and P’al Norte Festivals in Mexico were wonderful and impactful moments for his long-time client's return to the market after over two and a half years out of the country.
