[CLOSED] Open Call for Solo Artists and Groups from Latin America to Perform at BIME Bilbao 2025

BIME launches an open call for Latin American groups and/or solo artists who are in the process of international development to perform in the showcases of BIME Bilbao, which will take place between October 28 and 31, with the aim of continuing to promote the export of Ibero-American talent.

Four artistic proposals will be selected to perform a showcase before a professional audience—national and international—as part of the BIME Live program. In addition, they will have access to the BIME Pro professional sessions. This is a tool to create connections and networking opportunities to continue facilitating the export of Latin talent abroad.

The selection will be curated by the BIME programming team.

The application period is open from today, June 3, 2025, until June 17, 2025.

Specific terms of the call:

Musical proposals, solo artists and/or bands from Latin American countries.
Be of legal age.
Applications will only be valid through the form: link
Call open from June 3 to June 17, 2025.
The selection of the bands will be made exclusively by the BIME Live programming team, who will also handle the promotion once the selected proposals are confirmed.
Four (4) slots available.
Includes the performance of 1 showcase per artist/band as part of BIME Live Bilbao 2025, to be held in Bilbao (Basque Country) between October 28 and 31, 2025. BIME will cover the production costs of the showcase (venue, lighting and basic sound equipment, PA, technical staff, and basic backline).
The travel grant payment (€1,500) will be made after the showcase takes place and upon presentation of the invoice by the group.
The organization covers up to 3 double rooms for 1 night for each selected band, and dinner (catering) on the day of the showcase.
In addition to participating in the showcases, the band will benefit from accreditations that grant access to the professional program.
The selected solo artists/bands commit to attending and covering any travel and accommodation costs not covered by the organization.
The results of the call will be communicated to all applicants via email.
