Christophe Cassan has been working in the Spanish music industry for 25 years.
He is former managing director (and now its “angel” or consultant) of BIME Bilbao.
BIME is one of the Europe’s leading conference festivals for music, tech and new ideas. BIME has hosted executives and visionaries from across the globe. Cassan is also head of the booking department at Cruilla Barcelona, the Barcelona summer festival, with capacity for 25.000people, which offers a cocktail of styles, cultures and sensations that bring artists of all sizes and sensibilities. The programme also includes stand up comedy, arts and popular culture. In 2023, the 13th edition included acts like The Offspring, Placebo, Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, Moderat, Parov Stelar, Nicki Nicole, Ruben Blades, Tash Sultana, Leiva, and many more… Some other artists who performed at the festival: Jack White, Prophets of Rage, N*E*R*D, Kygo, Justice, The Roots, David Byrne, Jamiroquai, Pet Shop Boys, The Prodigy, Two Door Cinema Club, Die Antwoord, The Black Eyed Peas, Kylie Minogue, Foals, Bastille, Zaz, Vetusta Morla, Years & Years, Garbage.
He is also in charge of the booking of international acts for the Cruïlla booking agency, Talent.barcelona. Talent.barcelona represents and organizes tours in Spain for artists like Wilco, Calexico, Aurora, Fat Freddy’s Drop, etc…
