Carmen Matutes

Carmen Matutes Prats is the Deputy General Director of Palladium Hotel Group and President of the Executive Committee of the Abel Matutes Foundation. She is also a member of the Governing Board of APD, chairs the Executive Committee of the Abel Matutes Foundation, presides over the Board of Trustees of the Tourism and Cultural Foundation of the Balearic Islands, and is a member of the boards of both the Integra Foundation and the Illes Balears Foundation.

She holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration and an Executive MBA from IE Business School. With more than 20 years of experience in executive positions, she has played an active role in developing new business lines within Grupo Empresas Matutes, as well as in the design and launch of new brands and services at Palladium Hotel Group.

She began her professional career at the age of 18 at Banca Abel Matutes, combining her work with her studies at Doliga. After completing her degree, she joined the auditing firm Arthur Andersen, where she worked for several years before returning to the Grupo Empresas Matutes.
