Broke Carrey

Broke Carrey is a key figure in Argentina’s new music scene. From his beginnings as a self-taught rapper and beatmaker, he formed Talented Broke Boys alongside Dillom and Ill Quentin, and was a member of RIPGANG, a collective that became essential to a new generation of artists.

In 2023 he took a turn in his career with Río de la Plata, a triple single featuring “Distinto,” “Señales de Humo,” and “Montonero,” where he blends candombe, jazz, and rap with raw, politicized lyrics. The project, selected among the best of the year by outlets such as Indie Hoy, Doble R, and Lúcuma, was accompanied by a tour through Córdoba, Rosario, and Buenos Aires. In 2025, he continues showcasing his work alongside elmalamía and Aziz Asse, with dates at Festi Aire (La Plata) and Vorterix, where he opened the show for Ralphie Choo.
