Antonio Pérez

Antonio Pérez Delgado has served as Director General of Finance of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia since July 2024. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). For twenty years, he served as Deputy Director of Inspection and represented the Provincial Council of Bizkaia on the Basque Country’s Anti-Tax Fraud Commission.

He combines his public service with teaching at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce, where he lectures on various subjects. He is also the author of several publications in specialized journals on Basque tax law, having written articles on topics such as general tax regulations, Value Added Tax, and the Basque Economic Agreement (Concierto Económico).
