Anna Romeu

Director

Anna Romeu (Primavera Labels)

Since 2022, Anna Romeu has been leading Primavera Labels, the record company of Primavera Sound (formerly El Segell del Primavera), which she joined in 2014. She is responsible for the label’s releases and also manages artists Núria Graham and Christina Rosenvinge, as well as overseeing the booking for Renaldo & Clara and Amaia. The label’s roster also includes Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba, Svsto, Aiko el Grupo, and El Mató a un Policía Motorizado, among others.

With a degree in Art History from UAB and a Master’s in Cultural Management from UB, she has been working in the music industry since 2004, developing a wide range of roles across different areas and genres — making her a true all-round professional within the sector.

Her career began in communications: for nine years she headed the BCore Disc promotion department, running PR campaigns for artists such as Nueva Vulcano, Joan Colomo, The New Raemon, Maria Rodés, and Delorean. As a freelance professional, she also handled communications for festivals such as Foramuralla, Festival Internacional de Jazz de Vic, Costa Music Festival, and the Los Conciertos Sublimes de Vertical Pop concert series.

Before becoming the director of Primavera Labels, she also served as assistant director for three editions of the Festival LEM (focused on experimental music) and was in charge of tour production for artists represented by VESC SL, a company focused on Mediterranean-inspired world music, where she worked for more than six years.
