Álex Martínez

Passionate about the festival’s natural surroundings and an unconditional supporter of any initiative that contributes to the development of rural Asturias.

He brings his knowledge of his two passions to the project.

On the one hand, nature, which has fascinated him since childhood. He trained as a Forest Engineer and later as a Higher Technician in the Management and Organisation of Natural and Landscape Resources. For more than ten years, he has worked as a Natural Environment Ranger for the Government of the Principality of Asturias.

His other passion, music, has also accompanied him throughout much of his life. In recent years, he has been closely involved with El Prestoso and has worked as director of Argayu Fest, an annual cultural programme for the rural area of Alto Nalón in Asturias.
