Sentimentality, catchy melodies, and a deep voice are the three pillars of the Bilbao-based band airu. Founded in 2018, airu has carved out a place in the alternative scene, earning recognition from media outlets and festivals around the world. The Basque quartet released their first LP, Con lo bueno y con pena, in 2022 under the label Oso Polita.
They have played at major festivals such as Bilbao BBK Live, VIDA Festival, and international showcases like SXSW and The New Colossus. In 2024, they released their new EP YO NO SÉ NADA! NADA!!!, continuing to grow and establish themselves as one of the most exciting bands of the moment.
Currently, they are touring across Spain presenting these new songs and surprising fans with an extended version that includes remixes by CORTE!, Maud, and Restinga, along with the previously unreleased track “Una tonta que no sabe.”
