Call for Applications for BIME Bilbao 2025 for Catalan Artists and Bands

BIME joins forces again with Catalan Arts and launches an open call for 3 Catalan solo artists or bands. REGISTER HERE They will have the opportunity to showcase their talent to festival programmers, managers, journalists, and other professionals in the music industry. In addition, the selected artists will also have the chance to participate in the three days of congress programming, where they can learn, network with people from all areas of the music industry, and discover the latest trends in the sector. Call Guidelines: Musical proposals from artists and/or bands who are Catalan or have their tax residence in Catalonia.Be of legal age.Applications will only be valid through this form: https://forms.gle/QydeVtyZRVPBTgC49Call open from June 26, 2025, until July 15, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.The selection of the bands will be carried out by the BIME programming team, and Catalan Arts will handle the promotion once the selected proposals have been confirmed.Three slots available.Includes one showcase per artist/band as part of BIME Bilbao 2025, to be held in Bilbao (Basque Country) between October 28 and 31, 2025.BIME will cover the production costs of the showcase (venue, lighting and basic sound equipment, PA, technical staff, and shared basic backline) and dinner/catering for the artists. The basic backline will be confirmed by the organization depending on the configuration/band. Any additional backline must be covered by the band/institution (in-ears will not be included under any circumstances).In addition to participating in the showcases, the selected proposals will benefit from accreditations granting access to the professional event programming.The selected proposals commit to attending and covering any transport and accommodation costs not covered by the organization. Bands will receive a contribution of €250 per band for travel expenses.
