[OPEN] BIME Startup! Competition 2026

BIME Startup Competition is back from 27 to 29 October at BIME Bilbao. If you have a startup transforming the cultural and creative industries, take part to present your project to global industry leaders and access real opportunities for investment, collaboration and visibility. Applications BIME is strengthening its commitment to entrepreneurial talent with a programme aimed at driving innovation and transformative ideas within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs). The call is supported by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the Basque Government (Department of Economy, Labour and Employment), as well as in collaboration with the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, which contributes its expertise in impact investment and in supporting projects that promote social and ecological transition through culture or sustainable food, including initiatives such as Tiina. The call will select a maximum of fourteen (14) projects to participate in BIME Startup! Village during BIME PRO, on 27, 28 and 29 October 2026. Each project will have its own space to showcase its proposal, build strategic connections and hold meetings with investors and professionals from the ecosystem. From the fourteen (14) selected projects, the jury will shortlist five (5) finalists based on the videopitch submitted as part of the application. These five projects will take part in the BIME Startup! Competition final, taking place on 29 October 2026, where they will present their project live to a professional jury. The jury will award the recognitions established in these rules, including the BIME Startup! Competition 2026 Award and the IMPACT!
