Sustainable Development Goals

The SDGs are a set of 17 global goals that the United Nations devised in 2015 to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all by 2030. Ending hunger, fighting gender inequality, ensuring clean water and tackling climate change are some of the goals of this ambitious 2030 Agenda. To change the world, the SDGs require everyone - governments, the private sector, civil society and individuals - to do their part. These goals are the allies that we use from the organisation of the festival to help build, together, a better world, in which no one is left behind.

Our commitment to innovation and development in the cultural sector is materialised in a sustainable development plan, where we involve all the participants in each of the phases of the event. Despite the positive impact of the last editions, we are aware of the many challenges that remain to be met and we believe that sustainable innovation is the way forward.
