Dialogues

Diálogos: Tokischa y Angelica Piche

In this new episode of Dialogues, music journalist Luisa Piñeros sits down with Tokischa, one of the most unique and disruptive voices in the Latin American music scene, and her manager, business partner and co-founder of Sol Music Group, Angélica Piche. Broadcasting from the Dominican Republic, they share a powerful story of resistance, sisterhood, and building from the margins of an industry long dominated by male voices. Through a candid and visionary conversation, Tokischa opens up about her creative process as a deeply personal act — one rooted in introspection and loyalty to her own truth. Meanwhile, Piche explains how together they’ve developed a management model centered on creative freedom, self-determination, and education as key tools to protect emerging artists from abuse and exploitation. This conversation is more than a story — it’s a roadmap for anyone, especially women, striving to make their way in an unequal landscape. It’s about pain, growth, and a fierce commitment to building a new future. Because, as they both state: the best response will always be work done with vision, heart, and integrity.
