JH Kah

JH is CEO of Hybe Latin America. He is in charge of setting up and running Hybe Corp.’s Latin America business. [Previous to his current position, [JH was President of Hybe Geffen which is a collaboration between Hybe Corp. and Universal Music Group, which is set up to form a global girl group project. Hybe Corp. is a global leader in music industry and now venturing in localizing K-pop system in various global markets including South America. Before joining Hybe, JH was CEO at NPX Venture Capital specializing in investment into AI, Web 3 and content sector. Previous to joining NPX Venture Capital,] JH served as Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer at YG Entertainment. Before joing YG Entertainment, JH was Chief Strategy Officer at Hyosung Group in charge of corporate development and group investment. Previous to joining Hyosung, JH was with SK Group for almost 12 years where he had key management roles at SK Planet (Internet/commerce company), SK Telecom (telecommunications company) and SK Communications (Internet company). He also served as CEO of Lycos Korea until it merged with SK Communications in 2002. In the 1990s, JH worked as an attorney at Skadden, Arps, Meagher and Flom LLP’s New York and Hong Kong office, specializing in M&A and corporate finance in the telecommunication and technology sector. JH holds a JD from New York University, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a BA in Business Administration from Yonsei University in Korea.
