KOREA TOWN ACID
Korea Town Acid is a multidisciplinary artist from South Korea, currently based in Toronto. In 2022, she was nominated for Underground Dance Single of the Year at the Juno Awards and contributed as a producer on the Polaris Music Prize-winning album “Parallel World” by Cadence Weapon.
Her dynamic performances have taken her around the globe, with tours in Seoul, London, Berlin, New York, Athens, Riyadh, and various locations across Canada. Korea Town Acid has graced notable stages such as Mutek Montreal, Pop Montreal, and Boiler Room, captivating audiences with her eclectic sound and boundary-pushing performances. In Toronto, she co-hosts “Nolja,” a dance collective that showcases Asian-focused artists from around the world, An alumna of the 2018 Red Bull Music Academy. She has also been featured on BBC Radio 1’s Benji B show and Frank Ocean’s Homer Radio, In 2023, she performed at Louis Vuitton’s first women’s Pre-Fall show in Seoul, sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Jaden Smith, Le Sserafim, and New Jeans producer “250”.
